The Ukrainian Catholic Church is condemning a plan to build a casino next to its cathedral in Kiev. The Church authorities are offended and urging that a school be built in its place.

They've done the same to our catholic cathedral in Bucharest, Romania. Despite all intervention from the archbishop and even the Holy Father, a major forgein investor has bought the land right next to the cathedral and is building a 34-story Mall as we speak. 19 stories are aready up; its virtually wall to wall, and the foundations of the cathedral are already cracked (not to mention all you hear is jackhammers throughout Mass). What people will do for money...sell their soul. The time for reckoning will come.
